Get Real Clicks on Your Backlinks

A real browser opens the page that carries your backlink, reads it, finds your link and clicks through to your site, then browses it with the page depth and time on page you set. The visit reaches your analytics as referral traffic from that site. $0.003 per click.

Two Ways to Get Clicks on a Link

Which tool fits depends on whether a page with your link already exists. Link Clicker visits carry the referrer of the page that links to you; with Traffic Generator you pick the source yourself.

Your Link Is Already on Another Site's Page

A guest post, a directory listing, a forum thread, a partner page or a press release. Link Clicker opens that page and clicks your link, and the browser sends the referrer on its own.

You Need Visits to Your URL From a Chosen Source

No page carries your link, and you want the visits recorded as direct, referral or social. Traffic Generator sends sessions to your address with the source you set.

What You Control

Any Public Page With Your Link

Guest posts, directory listings, forum threads, comments, partner and press pages. If a browser can open the page and the link is on it, it can be clicked.

Geography

Choose the country the clicks come from: each click uses an IP in that country.

Precise Link Targeting

Point to your link by its URL, or by a CSS selector or XPath when the page has several links to you.

Real Browser Sessions

Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge with JavaScript, cookies and a distinct fingerprint for each session.

Scheduling

Set the daily number of clicks per link and the hours they run in, in the timezone you choose.

Delivery Reporting

The dashboard shows completed clicks per link and the reason when a link could not be reached, such as a removed page.

How Link Clicker Works

  1. 01

    Add Source Pages

Enter each page that links to you and how to find the link on it. Set the location, the daily clicks and the schedule.

  2. 02

    Open, Read, Click

A real browser loads the source page, spends time on it, finds your link and clicks it, then browses your site for the depth and time you set.

  3. 03

    Check the Referrals

Follow delivery in the dashboard and confirm the visits in Google Analytics under the referral channel and in your server logs.

Backlink Clicks: How They Are Recorded

What Backlink Activation Means

A backlink that nobody clicks produces no referral data: in your analytics the linking site simply does not exist. Activating the link means sending visits through it, so the source shows up as a referrer with sessions behind it.

Link Clicker does exactly that and nothing more. It does not create links, and it does not change how a search engine values the links you already have.

What the Referrer Carries

When a browser follows a link, it sends a Referer header to the destination. How much of the source address that header contains is set by the source page's referrer policy, not by us.

Modern browsers default to strict-origin-when-cross-origin, so you usually receive the source domain rather than the full page URL. A source on https linking to a site on http sends no referrer at all, and the visit is recorded as direct.

Finding the Clicks in Google Analytics

In GA4, open Reports, then Acquisition, then Traffic acquisition, and look at the Referral channel. Switch the dimension to Session source to see each referring domain with its sessions, engagement rate and average engagement time.

Your server access log records the same visits with the Referer header as the browser sent it, which is the check that does not depend on any analytics setup.

Which Links Work

Any link a browser can click on a publicly accessible page: dofollow, nofollow, sponsored and UGC links alike, since the attribute does not change what happens on a click.

Pages behind a login, links injected only after a user action, and pages that block automated browsers cannot be clicked. The dashboard reports those links as failed, and a failed click is not charged.

Planning Your Click Budget

Multiply the number of links by the daily clicks per link, the number of days and $0.003. For example, 20 links at 10 clicks a day for 30 days come to 6,000 clicks and cost $18. Failed clicks are not charged, so $18 is the most this plan can cost.

Start with 5 to 10 clicks a day per link. After a week, compare the dashboard with your server log, then raise or lower the volume. To try other numbers, use the traffic cost calculator.

What Link Clicker Does and Does Not Do

What it does

  • Opens the source page you name, finds your link by its URL, a CSS selector or an XPath, and clicks it
  • Brings the visit to your site as referral traffic attributed to the source domain
  • Continues the visit on your site with the page depth and time on page you set
  • Charges $0.003 for each completed click and nothing for a link it could not reach

What it does not do

  • Does not create backlinks or change how a search engine values the ones you have
  • Does not set the referrer itself: the browser sends what the source page's referrer policy allows, usually the domain only
  • Does not guarantee rankings or index pages
  • Does not bring buyers: there is no person behind the click
